About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join a high-quality healthcare team on the day shift. This role is ideal for a patient-focused professional who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and providing an excellent patient experience. You’ll play a critical role in supporting timely and accurate diagnostic testing while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages

• Properly identify, label, and process specimens according to established protocols

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the collection process

• Prepare specimens for transport or in-house testing

• Maintain accurate documentation in the laboratory information system

• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines

• Assist with inventory management and maintain phlebotomy supplies

• Support overall laboratory workflow and quality initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (CPT, NHA, ASCP, or equivalent)

• Prior phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred

• Strong knowledge of specimen handling and collection techniques

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
