Machine Vision Engineer

Location: Onsite in Salisbury, NC
Salary: Up to $135k base + bonus
Requirements: 4+ years of Machine Vision design and implementation + programming experience in Microsoft tech stack

Our bread and butter involves the design and development of custom machine vision libraries and solutions that utilize Hyperspectral imaging, Deep Learning, Robotics and AI for intelligent factory automation and inspection.

With a global customer base, including many Fortune 100 companies in a wide range of industries and our large portfolio of technologies available for custom solutions, no two days will be a like. You will get exposed to new technologies, industries and challenges consistently and will grow into an incredibly talented and well rounded engineer!

This is an onsite position. You MUST live, or be willing to relocate to the greater Charlotte area.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine vision systems using C++ and Halcon.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time image processing and analysis.
• Calibrate cameras and optimize lens/lighting designs for maximum system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision solutions into automated systems.
• Conduct testing and validation of vision systems to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine vision technology and techniques.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Physics, Computer Science, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in optical systems and camera calibration techniques
• Halcon
• Strong experience in C++ and algorithm development
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Tech Stack
• Experience with lens and lighting design for machine vision applications
