Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Cary, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position within the hospitality industry, offering an excellent opportunity to grow your career. Responsibilities: - Manage accounts receivable tasks, including billing, collections, and cash applications. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and invoices. - Collaborate with other departments to address billing discrepancies and resolve customer inquiries. - Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and provide regular updates to the management team. - Assist in improving and streamlining accounts receivable processes for increased efficiency. - Handle collections for guests and clients associated with the hotel. - Support team members as needed and contribute to a positive and detail-oriented office environment. - Adhere to company policies, including dress code and conduct standards. - Utilize relevant software and technology tools to perform financial tasks effectively. - Participate in training and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. - Familiarity with billing functions, cash applications, and collections processes. - Strong office experience, with hospitality accounting knowledge considered a plus. - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Proficiency in relevant financial software and technology systems. - Detail-oriented approach and adherence to conservative dress code guidelines. - Recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
