SYLVAN EXPERIENCED TUTORS ALL SUBJECTS
Experienced Tutors Needed! Sylvan Learning of Chapel Hill is looking for Tutors! We have multiple roles to fill: Requirements:
- - Has experience teaching basic reading, writing, and or math.
- - Has completed at least two years of college in Education or a related field.
- - Is reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented.
- -is available in person 1-2 evenings per week and possibly Saturday morning
- -is a certified teacher or a candidate enrolled in an education program
- --is familiar with beginning reading skills, including phonics AND/OR upper-level math
- -is experienced with or willing to learn other programs such as Study Skills, SAT or ACT
- - No planning or grading required. Materials and lessons are provided.
- --3:1 Student-teacher ratio; In-person learning
- --Paid training is provided.
