APQP/PPAP Manufacturing Engineer, Precision CNC Operations

Your mission

Engineer smarter, leaner, and more efficient CNC-driven production for next-generation driveline components. You will bridge design and manufacturing, ensuring parts are producible at quality, cost, and speed—right from launch.

Scope of work

• Develop and improve manufacturing systems, equipment, and tooling for CNC operations
• Lead FTF (First Time Through) measurement strategy and compile PPAP packages
• Collaborate with design to elevate manufacturability and reduce total landed cost
• Direct inspections, apply structured problem solving, and recommend engineering changes
• Mine production data to drive waste reduction, cycle-time gains, and process capability
• Run small projects with tight control of schedule, cost, and scope; align suppliers/subcontractors
• Embed safety, health, and environmental compliance into every improvement
• Elevate the team through coaching and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5–6 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience in process/equipment design, development, and specification
• Competence in project scheduling, costing, and budgeting

Preferred background

• Hands-on CNC machining process experience
• Lean manufacturing and organizational change management
• Data analysis and process optimization expertise
• Supplier and subcontractor coordination
