Job Description-:

Seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team supporting front office trading systems. This is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for a candidate with a strong background in API automation, Fixed Income and Python or Java development. You'll be working closely with front office teams in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. Must have full life cycle experience including testing experience.

Excellent communication skills

Financial services experience primarily in investment banking

Solid fixed income experience in banking

Strong Java and/or Python skills

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain API test automation using a Cucumber-based test framework.

Partner with front office developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to ensure quality in trading system deliveries.

Write and maintain scalable and maintainable test scripts in Python (preferred) or Java.

Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for front office applications.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous test improvement processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

9+ years of software engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with API automation testing.

Proficient in Python or Java.

Mandatory: Deep knowledge of Fixed Income gained in a investment banking

Ability to work well in a hybrid setup and collaborate effectively across teams.
