Job Summary
The role reports to the Finance Operations Manager and is responsible for the accounts payable cycle from invoice vouchering through to the production of payments. Position is responsible for the refining, developing and/or implementing accounts payable process, maintaining service levels with internal partners and protecting ACNs assets.
Job Duties
- Process all incoming invoices in accordance with shared services accounts payable (SSAP) service level agreement (SLA’s).
- Process payments for North America in accordance with the Accounts Payable Service Level Agreement, ensure proper system approvals are obtained, and funding is coordinated with corporate treasury prior to processing.
- Process wire payments through banking software, and Peoplesoft software as needed.
- Enter new vendors, ensure proper approval in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor unapproved vouchers and communicate with operational approvers as needed to ensure timely processing of all invoices.
- Research internal/external customer/vendor inquiries regarding payments and invoice status in accordance with SSAP SLA’s.
- Monitor outstanding check list to void and reissue checks as needed.
- Process Month-End-Close activities.
- Assist with training to new members of staff
- Provide guidance and support to Accounts payable analysts
- Assist in the year end, report for 1099 or other local tax documentation process where requested.
- Assist with projects regarding vendors, payments and invoices.
- Assist with internal and annual external audit inquiries.
- Assist emerging markets and support their SSAP needs.
Required Skills and Abilities
- 2-3+ years accounts payable experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers and cross-functionally within the company.
- Extensive working knowledge of the accounts payable cycle.
- Ability to gather and analyze operating metrics associated the accounts payable process and provide meaningful feedback and suggestions for process improvement.
- Highly motivated, deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively
- Must have excellent communications skills (verbally and in writing).
Working Environment

Office environment Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8 A.M to 5 P.M
The position may require occasional travel for continuing education, training or support.
