Operating Room RN Concord, NC

Sunbelt is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 12-week contract in Concord, North Carolina. This role offers a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment with a variety of surgical specialties and a supportive team culture.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Concord, NC 28025

• Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

• Hours per Week: 36

• Call: Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule; 45-minute response time; includes weekends (7a-7p / 7p-7a)

• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend (may be scheduled or call)

• Holiday Coverage: Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays

Job Responsibilities:

• Circulate for a wide variety of cases including trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, cardiac/MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, robotics, general surgery, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, eyes, pain, and plastics.

• Scrub and circulate as needed; assist with laparoscopic and open procedures, vascular, cysto, and robotic surgeries.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

• Maintain sterile technique and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and patient safety.

• Participate in call coverage and weekend rotation as required.

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license

• BLS required; CNOR preferred but not required

• Minimum of 5 years recent OR experience

• Experience circulating in multiple surgical specialties, including trauma and orthopedic cases

• Flexible, self-driven, and able to accommodate mid-shift case requests
