Salary is commensurate with experience, but experience is not necessary for the outstanding candidate. A well-qualified candidate must be articulate and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Job duties include medical billing liaison/contact, answering the phone, communicating with insurance carriers/case managers/other medical offices, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage/benefits, taking patient payments, ordering supplies, routing mail, sending mail, managing weekly staff meeting minutes, maintaining current patient census, verifying visits, checking patient account balances, and assisting the office manager and practice owner with administrative tasks as needed. BASIC PROFICIENCY WITH EXCEL, WORD, AND COMPUTERS A MUST . Due to the nature of our business, candidates cannot have any criminal convictions for anything other than minor traffic violations.

Position hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Great working environment. As this is a small medical practice, we do not offer health insurance. The position includes 15 days PTO + paid holidays, company-paid life insurance, company-paid telemedicine, access to pre-taxable income AFLAC insurance.
