Job Description
As the Director of Sales for HEAT, you will develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and oversee client relationship management with key accounts. You will also manage sales operations, lead a team, and ensure sales objectives align with the company’s business goals. To be successful, you will need to meet or exceed personal, and team sales targets each month.
Summary Of Essential Job Functions
Maintain good business relationships with current customers
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Create and communicate sales goals and ensure executive leaders are informed on the progress of those goals.
Monitor sales performance, review operational records, and report progress to senior leadership.
Oversee sales activities, create sales forecasts, set quotas, and manage budgets.
Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and maintain and develop key customer relationships.
Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
Work with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
5+ years of industrial sales experience
4+ years in a sales leadership role
Proven team and sales management skills
Enjoys motivating staff and sales force to achieve objectives in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Skilled public speaker and comfortable with a diverse audience.
Ability to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional business plans
Experience managing cross-functional teams or workgroups as well as direct reports
Successful track record of budget management and good compliant business practices with an understanding of revenue forecasting and expense budget planning and tracking
Strong computer aptitude (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce)
Willing and able to travel up to 25%
