Temporary RAP Counselor

Position Overview
- Assist in planning events and help lead those activities.
- Transport students to all daily activities via a University van.
- Reside in the residence hall with students and help ensure a fun and enriching experience.
- Interpret and enforce all policies, procedures, and rules of the camp.
- Know and be ready to perform emergency duties if necessary.
- Ensure that all apprentices fulfill the responsibilities of the program.
- Be able to creatively solve rising problems and develop an action plan on rectifying the problem.
- Monitor participants at all times and oversee all evening activities.
- Complete a written evaluation of the summer program in July.
- Make sure students are accounted for at all times.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of experience working with high school students
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education Master’s degree and at least 1 year of teaching experience
Required License or Certification Driver’s License
Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
