POSITION SUMMARY:

The Evaluation Manager is responsible for providing evaluation services to all CHA programs. The Manager is accountable for implementing the evaluation systems in programs to ensure best practice and continuous quality improvement. As a key member of the Implementation Team establishing sustainable evaluation practices across the agency including training of evaluators, methodology, and working with the Management Team and Executive Leadership Team to support and move the agency strategic vision forward.

* Travel across NC on a regular basis is required for this role- MUST live in NC *

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish Evaluation KPI and provide reports of progress. Achieve measurable objectives.
  • Maintain timelines and coordinates program evaluations of Teaching Family Model practitioners.
  • Ensure compliance with the evaluation standards as outlined by the evidence-based practice.
  • Coordinate pre-evaluation training and post-evaluation conferences for participants in the evaluation process.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to participate in individual evaluations as both primary and secondary evaluator as necessary.
  • Participate in the collection, preparation, and analysis of all data and consumer polls.
  • Coordinate and participate in the completion of evaluation reports.
  • Participate in providing training and/or mentoring to others in order to maintain a pool of staff trained to support evaluation processes.
  • Work cooperatively with the Implementation team and train, consult, or provide other assistance as needed.
  • Assist with any Teaching-Family Services-related project.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Competency will be evaluated: Completion of the agency Cultural Competency training with an evaluation score of 80% or better at the end of pre-service and annually.

Physical functions which are considered essential to the satisfactory performance of the job include the following: typing, professional writing, using the telephone, driving.

  • Must have a high accuracy level in data collection and record keeping activities
  • Must have basic computer and math skills
  • Must be culturally sensitive to children and families and support cultural diversity throughout the program.
  • Requires effective communication, decision making, interpersonal, leadership and professionalism skills and abilities.
  • Must have a valid North Carolina’s Driver’s license
  • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal, HCPR and driving checks.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2-year’s experience in providing evaluation services within the Teaching Family Model. Supervisory experience in a health and human service field preferred.

  • Employee must be able to operate a vehicle for job duties, and keep a valid NC drivers license with insurance.
  • The work environment will contain slight to moderate office-related noises. The employee is not exposed to extreme weather conditions, toxic fumes, or airborne particles.
  • The employee must occasionally travel to different locations in the course of work.

Salary expectations

  • New employees are generally hired at the midpoint of the posted salary range. However, the exact salary may vary depending on factors such as qualifications, internal equity, and the budget allocated for the role.
