Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to support elementary school students in Wilmington, NC. This role offers two openings, one starting in August and another beginning in December to cover a maternity leave. Both positions are contract-based for the school year and provide a unique opportunity to work with a diverse student population to enhance their developmental and functional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized intervention plans for students with various needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in the school setting
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support plans

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in North Carolina
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to develop creative and effective strategies to engage elementary-aged children
• Knowledge of educational therapy approaches and legal requirements
