Experienced Nanny for Newborn We are a loving family seeking an experienced and compassionate older female nanny to care for our newborn. We're looking for someone who brings a wealth of knowledge and a nurturing approach to infant care, with a strong emphasis on providing a safe and stimulating environment for our little one. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities: - Infant Care: Provide all aspects of newborn care, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and comforting. - Routine Establishment: Help establish and maintain a consistent daily routine for feeding, naps, and playtime. - Developmental Activities: Engage the baby in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and motor skill development. This could include tummy time, reading, singing, and gentle play. - Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment for the baby, adhering to all health and safety guidelines. Administer medication if necessary, under parental guidance. - Communication: Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding the baby's daily activities, progress, and any concerns. - Light Household Duties: Perform light nursery duties related to the baby, such as washing bottles, tidying the nursery, and organizing baby clothes/toys. - Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle minor emergencies and know when to contact parents or emergency services. Qualifications: - Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience, with a significant portion of that experience caring for newborns and infants. - Maturity and Wisdom: We highly value the life experience and wisdom that an older caregiver brings to this role. - Warm and Nurturing Demeanor: A genuinely kind, patient, and loving approach to childcare. - Reliable and Punctual: Dependable and on time every day. - Excellent References: Must provide verifiable references from previous families, specifically for infant care. - CPR and First Aid Certified: Current certification in infant CPR and First Aid is required. - Background Check: Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check. - Non-Smoker: Essential for the health of our newborn. - Discreet and Trustworthy: Respectful of our family's privacy and highly trustworthy.
