Our Raleigh, NC Division is seeking an experienced Asbestos Abatement Project Manager / Estimator to lead projects from pre bid planning to project mobilization through project completion. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional with proven experience in regulated abatement, demolition operations, and cost estimating.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, and demolition projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze construction drawings and environmental reports
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks
• Manage projects from award through closeout
• Lead field crews and subcontractors in regulated environments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, AHERA, and state regulations
• Coordinate permits, inspections, waste manifests, and disposal documentation
• Manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and job cost tracking
• Plan demolition sequencing, containment systems, and utility shutdowns

• Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, material science, civil, structural or construction management
• 7+ years of experience in asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, or demolition
• Direct experience as a Project Manager, Estimator, or Construction Manager in hazardous materials removal
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and AHERA regulations
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, or public-sector projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong budgeting, cost control, and margin management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
