Our Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you with an invaluable work experience through meaningful projects that will help you grow and develop both personally and professionally.

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World
As a Client Compute Intern, you will play an active role in building and improving endpoint reporting and automation solutions as part of the Client Compute team. You will work cross‑functionally with IT infrastructure, application, network, and security teams to analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver practical automations that reduce manual effort and improve data quality. This role provides hands‑on experience designing reports, building remediation workflows, and evaluating where AI‑assisted capabilities can be embedded within enterprise automations to support smarter decision‑making. This role will be based in Claremont, NC.
You Will Make an Impact By
- Build/standardize “fleet health” reporting (compliance, patch, inventory accuracy).
- Automate data hygiene fixes (normalizing device/user attributes, reconciling duplicates, stale objects).
- Create automation triggers (Intune remediation scripts, Power Apps/Power Automate flows, API-driven workflows).
- Utilize AI tools to research, prototype, and implement automation solutions, including embedding AI-driven capabilities within workflows.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in information technology from an accredited university.
- Ability to query, analyze, and interpret data from one or more data sources using SQL or similar query languages to support reporting and automation use cases.
- Ability to develop basic automation or scripting solutions on Windows platforms using PowerShell, .NET, or similar technologies, including an understanding of how to interact with APIs.
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, subnets, and how endpoints communicate within an enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting in physical or virtual environments.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
- Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists)
You Will Excite Us If You
- Can write clean, maintainable PowerShell or .NET code to support automation, data processing, or AI‑assisted decision logic on Windows platforms.
- Have experience building dashboards, reports, or workflows using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate.
- Have familiarity with modern Windows device management concepts or platforms, such as Microsoft Intune, including policies, reporting, or remediation workflows.
- Have experience installing, configuring, or maintaining Windows systems on bare metal hardware or virtual machines for testing, learning, or development purposes.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
- Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
- Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
- Strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
