Sunny Days After School is looking for caring, energetic, and reliable team members to join our growing program! Whether you have experience leading activities or simply enjoy working with kids, we have both leadership and support roles available.

This could be a great opportunity for retired teachers, college graduates looking for extra income, or anyone who loves working with children. We offer part-time hours during the school year and full-time opportunities in the summer. Pay is flexible and competitive, based on experience—we value the work our team does.

About Us:

At Sunny Days After School, we provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment where school-age children can learn, play, and grow. Our program includes after-school care during the school year and an exciting summer program with field trips, group activities, and hands-on learning experiences.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and engage with children in a structured, active environment
• Lead or assist with outdoor play, group games, and special activities
• Help create a positive and supportive space for kids to learn and have fun
• Work as part of a team to ensure children’s safety and well-being
• Assist with field trips and summer program events

Who You Are:

• Someone who genuinely enjoys working with children
• Reliable, responsible, and able to maintain a positive and structured environment
• Comfortable leading or assisting with activities and managing groups of school-age children
• A great communicator who works well with both kids and parents
• Willing to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process
• Previous experience in childcare, education, or youth programs is a plus, but not required—we are happy to train the right person!

Hours & Availability:

• Part-time (afternoons) during the school year
• Full-time opportunities available during the summer program
• Some flexibility needed for teacher workdays and school breaks
