Work Shift:
1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following : Experience communications professional leading strategic communications for Technology Execution & Management function, as well as supporting related communications deliverables for Chief Information Officer. Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Functions and Business Segments. Heavy focus on working independently and collaboratively to write communications plans, messaging, scripts, stories, presentations, social media, and talking points. Synthesize a variety of information and dynamics to formulate compelling messaging, within input/approval process and deadlines. Adept at strategic thinking, strong judgment, and confidentiality.***Position is an office centric role with 4 days in office. This is not a remote position.*****
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Develop and execute internal and external communications strategy, plans, and messaging for CIO and other Enterprise Technology leaders. 2. Serve as the primary point of contact for Technology execution leader and team, providing communications resources and counsel.
3. Contribute content/messaging and graphics/videos for town halls, conferences, speaking engagements and events.
4. Work with regional, industry, and other select media to create positive media mentions of Truist products, services, brand, and purpose.
5. Assist with leadership message development, spokesperson training, issues management, and internal communications for Enterprise Technology. 6. Collaborate with the social media team on messages, issues, and opportunities. 7. Forge relationships with Technology leaders to gain knowledge, align communications objectives and goals with the business, and serve as a trusted consultative partner.
QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training. 2. 7 years of related experience 3. Demonstrated corporate communications message development and project management. 4. Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills. 5. Strong judgment, confidentiality, awareness, and accuracy. 6. Understanding of technology strongly preferred.
