Job Summary: The A dmissions Call Specialist is responsible for coordinating aspects of the admissions process. This includes but is not limited to efficient and effective handling of inquiry calls, processing of referrals for possible admission, knowledge of and communication with referral sources and customers who present for assessment. Additional responsibilities include insurance verification/precertification, patient registration process, vitals, wanding, patient observations, scheduling of evaluations, admissions processing, bed board monitoring and other non-clinical duties as assigned by admissions leadership team.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, human resources, or related human services field. AND

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a human service, social service, psychiatric, or mental health setting, performing administrative duties, crisis intervention, telephonic triage and inquiries, and customer service.
