Lead Electrical Engineer (Federal Projects)
Join a dynamic engineering team as a Lead Electrical Engineer, where your expertise will be pivotal in shaping innovative solutions for complex challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of electrical systems for both new constructions and renovation projects.
- Assist in project management tasks, including managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Conduct comprehensive field investigations, code reviews, and site assessments.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure a high referral rate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10–20 years of experience in power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, AGI32, and SKM or Easypower.
- Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with fieldwork and the ability to adapt to various site conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Medium-Voltage (MV) distribution systems.
- RCDD certification.
- Background in federal sector projects (UFC, UFGS, FAR).
- Established client relationships in NC/SC, Mid-Atlantic, or South-Central U.S.
- Familiarity with higher education and NC State Construction Office systems.
- U.S. Citizenship required for access to government projects.
