Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a middle school setting in Thomasville, NC. This contract role spans the entire school year, offering an opportunity to support and educate students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet students' unique learning requirements.
• Adapt general education curriculum to acmodate students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and administrators to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• municate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student achievements and challenges.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience teaching special education at the middle school level is preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive and effective strategies.
