Infant/Toddler Teacher
Summary Are you a patient, passionate, and nurturing professional with a deep understanding of early childhood development? A Step Forward Early Learning Academy is seeking a dedicated Infant and Toddler Teacher to create a loving, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners (ages 6 weeks to 3 years). - Attend to the daily physical and emotional needs of infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, comforting, and promoting self-help skills.
- Implement Engaging Curriculum: Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities that support cognitive, social-emotional, and physical growth through play and exploration.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain continuous supervision and a clean, organized, and healthy classroom environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Partner with Families: Build strong, positive relationships with parents through daily communication and regular progress updates.
· Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
· High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
· A strong understanding of child development.
· Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE preferred, but not required
