IT Technical Lead (Entitlement & Licensing Platforms) Canada (ON) USA (DE, CO)

Location: Canada - ON / USA - Delaware / Colorado

We are looking for an experienced IT Technical Lead to architect and implement Agilents next-generation entitlement and software licensing management platform . This role is central to designing scalable B2B licensing solutions driving technical execution and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture security and compliance standards. The position requires close collaboration with software product teams business partners and cross-functional IT groups to enable modern post-sales software monetization.

• Develop a deep understanding of Agilents B2B software licensing models and monetization strategies.

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of the Licensing and Entitlement Management solution.

• Collaborate with product and business teams to define and optimize entitlement workflows.

• Guide adoption of best practices for licensing within engineering teams.

• Solve operational challenges and drive continuous platform optimization.

• Integrate entitlement systems with ERP and other enterprise platforms.

• Partner with enterprise architects to ensure strategic technology alignment.

• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders through presentations documentation and technical leadership.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 8 years of experience with core CS fundamentals system architecture and algorithms.

• 2 years of experience as a technical lead managing medium to large teams.

• Strong experience in enterprise IT solution design (custom off-the-shelf).

• Experience integrating customer-facing applications with backend ERP systems.

• Hands-on experience with backend languages ( or Python).

• Strong expertise with AWS services: storage caching API Gateway IAM etc.

• Understanding of data privacy/compliance standards (PII GDPR CFR).

• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.

• Ability to convert requirements into detailed solution and design documentation.

• Strong communication interpersonal and self-management skills.

• Excellent storytelling and stakeholder communication skills.

• Interest or experience in GenAI and Agentic AI tools .
