Inventory Specialist
Overview:
Our client is a global manufacturing and distribution company with multiple warehouse locations across the U.S. and abroad. They’re looking for an Inventory Specialist to help ensure accuracy and efficiency across their supply chain. This person will play a key role in maintaining stock levels, reconciling inventory data, and supporting daily operations between production, quality, and logistics teams.
Responsibilities:
- Create and process domestic transfer orders and return orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations.
- Execute and reconcile cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate shipping documentation and coordinate with 3PL partners.
- Review and analyze receiving documentation; process adjustments as needed.
- Address product damage issues in coordination with warehouse and QC teams.
- Manage product relabeling and ensure accurate item tracking.
- Oversee timely receipt and documentation of inbound raw materials and finished goods.
- Partner with production and quality teams to optimize scheduling and material flow.
- Support annual and periodic physical inventory audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse inventory or logistics management.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (MS Dynamics preferred).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school background a plus.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, with some time spent in warehouse and production areas. Appropriate safety gear must be worn when applicable.
