Welcome to Bosch. The Lincolnton, NC Manufacturing, Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte. The facility employs just under 600 full time associates in a 5-shift operation, which encompasses 235,000 sq ft. along with 12,000 skus. In addition to the conversion, customizing and packaging activities, abrasives are now a big part of our power tool accessory business. ISO certified, our associates engage in BPS, CIP and 5S . By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled Maintain a Safe Working environment, report Safety related topics into the SuperOPL.Update and maintain all SAP activities as required for all Production Goals and expectations.Keep Materials and Orders moving in and out of FIFO’s and into correct locations as required thru out all RSB BIM manufacturing operations. Assign associates to production areas as needed to maintain the flow of product and manage bottlenecks.Assist Supervisor entering Production Data, Attendance exceptions, Work orders, and vacation request as needed and directed.Assist in Value added operations and tasks if and when the Lead responsibilities are fulfilled or when critical operations are not manned on the shift.Directly keep an open line of communication with PA2 supervisor either via email or phone for all issues concerning the manufacturing associates for direction and assistance.Assist LctP/LOP with Inventories and Kan Ban calculations as required per BPS guidelinesManage and Document non-conforming material that is found during the shift · High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school, Technical or vocational schooling a plus.· 3 to 5 years previous experience in production or warehouse environment.· 3 to 5 years previous experience in SAP.· Ability to communicate effectively with Shopfloor Leadership, Associates and Support Departments.· Ability to lift (up to) 40Lbs
