Medical Device Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in healthcare technology, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer electro-mechanical devices to join their team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Principal Software Systems Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay Range: $65-$70 per hourly W2

• Drive innovation by implementing best practices in software systems development and product lifecycle management.
• Lead technical teams, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex software and hardware challenges, ensuring high-quality results within tight schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial and clinical stakeholders, to translate user needs into precise system requirements.
• Conduct risk analysis activities, identifying hazards and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure product safety and compliance.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on electro-mechanical devices preferred.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and creating product backlogs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, to articulate complex technical ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with regulated industries, emphasizing compliance and quality assurance processes.
