Beauty By Johvoni Head Spa is seeking a talented and motivated Licensed Cosmetologist to join our professional team that will be offering top of the line Japanese style HeadSpa services. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hair care, customer service, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism. This position is commission-based and ideal for a driven stylist who wants to grow their clientele while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Compensation:

• Commission-based pay structure
• 40% commission to employee / 60% to owner
• Opportunity to increase earnings through excellent service and repeat clientele

Work Schedule:

• Expected availability of 40–50 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling within business hours may be available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional barbering and cosmetology services including haircuts, styling, treatments, and grooming services.
• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and recommend appropriate styles and services.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation in compliance with state cosmetology and health regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Educate clients on proper hair and scalp care, products, and maintenance.
• Promote salon services and retail products when appropriate.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Manage appointment scheduling and ensure timely service for clients.
• Follow all salon policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Active
• Cosmetology License (required)
• Strong skills in cutting, styling, and hair care techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and motivated to grow a client base
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for maintaining healthy hair and scalp care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a barbershop or salon environment
• Knowledge of advanced scalp and hair treatments is a plus
