- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- On-Call: No call required
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,680–$1,730 per week
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain
- Rehabilitation Therapy certification
- New graduates welcome; SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience preferred
- Covid test required within 72 hours prior to start date, with results issued 48 hours prior
- Resume and license verification required with application
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments and therapy for hospital patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical records and document patient progress per hospital policy
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
