Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer
- Gather and document business and functional requirements; translate them into technical tasks and user stories.
- Configure and customize Guidewire ClaimCenter (including workflows, screens, business rules) to support claims processes.
- Build and support integrations between ClaimCenter and external systems (e.g., payment, document management, third-party data).
- Assist with data conversion/migration activities (mapping, transformation logic, validation, and reconciliation).
- Develop and execute unit/system test cases; support defect triage, fixes, and regression testing.
- Produce clear technical documentation and participate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and client working sessions.
- Support release planning and deployment activities; assist with post-go-live stabilization and production support.
- Contribute to team culture through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement; may mentor analysts on specific tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter (Guidewire InsuranceSuite experience and ClaimCenter focus required for this role).
- At least 3 years of experience as a Guidewire Developer in insurance or consulting environments
- 2+ years experience with Java/J2EE tech stack with knowledge of the SDLC and integration frameworks
- 2+ years experience working in one of the following insurance sub service areas: User Experience, Integration, Configuration, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration, Underwriting or Distribution
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Advanced degree
- Proficiency in Guidewire configuration and integration (Gosu scripting, Guidewire Studio, Data Model, Product Model)
- Guidewire ACE Certification
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
