Salon and Spa Studio Manager for Waxing the City

At Waxing the City of Huntersville, our highly trained and licensed estheticians are waxing experts. Our CEROLOGISTS (our trademarked title for a licensed esthetician/waxer) are beauty and skin professionals who build strong client relationships by delivering excellent service and developing expert skills. We have brought to market proprietary wax formulations and treatment processes, and we provide our estheticians with continuing education, training, and professional development.

As we move into a growth phase, our Huntersville Waxing the City location is searching for an experienced Studio Manager to join our team. The Managers’ responsibilities include promoting the culture of our organization, supervising staff members, scheduling shifts, promoting our services, managing inventory, and maintaining updated records of expenses and revenues.

**Applicants must reside within 30 minutes of the Huntersville or Lake Norman area and have a valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation**

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee daily s tudio operations
  
• Drive mechanisms to meet/exceed sales and profitability targets
  
• Organize employee shifts, considering peak times and seasonality
  
• Order service and retail supplies
  
• Ensure proper hygiene practices throughout the salon
  
• Promote services, products, and discounts on social media
  
• Boost client satisfaction and augment the experience and performance of our staff
  
• Other duties assigned by leadership
  

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Salon Manager or similar leadership/experience in aesthetics category
  
• Demonstrable leadership ability and business acumen
  
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
  
• Reside in (or in proximity to) Huntersville
  
• Understanding of how to resolve customer issues with grace and professionalism
  
• Excellent time management skills
  
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
  
• Flexibility and adaptability, allowing staff to learn new techniques and procedures
  
• Certification in Esthetics or experience in waxing is a plus ; current state esthetician licensure (all states OK)
  
• Desire to make meaningful customer connections
  
• Ability to project a professional image
  
• Demonstrate operational excellence, including scheduling and inventory management
  
• Execute against key performance indicators (KPIs)
  
• Ability to inspire the team and drive results through others
  

Schedule:

Five-day workweek (Tuesday–Saturday)

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Eastern time on Weekdays

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 11:00 – 4:00 PM Eastern time on Saturdays
