Production Operator

1st Shift
Will be working in the filling department where we fill paint into drums, gallons, 5-gallon pails, and quarts.

Prepares and examines production materials for processing.

Operates all equipment and processes.

Monitors machine parameters and troubleshoots processing problems.

Skill/Experience/Education:

Mandatory:
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES/CAPABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to use a hand truck and/or material handling equipment to move materials weighing several hundred pounds. Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Must be able to walk, sit, stand, walk, hear, and have good color vision and depth perception. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; push and pull; twist and turn; bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to wear a respirator. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. Will work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. Will work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. Will be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. Use of telephone and computer keyboard. Must have the ability to work on an off shift if required Must be able to work overtime as required to maintain plant operations 1-3 months related/manufacturing experience Forklift/material handling experience
