Crew Leader - Production 2nd Shift (starting pay $18.00)

- Set up, assess, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment along the production line, promptly reporting any malfunctions to the Production Manager.
- Ensure safety policies and operations processes are always followed.
- Guide teams of up to 30 employees throughout the production line, providing training guidance, and oversight to maintain quality and quantity standards.
- Maintain precision and excellence of all materials utilized in production, encompassing trays, pots, soils, plants, hangers, tags, and labels.
- Actively seeking out opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas relevant to your role as a crew leader, including leadership, communication, conflict resolution and team management.
- Collaborating with your manager to establish clear and achievable development goals aligned with your role and the strategic objectives of the team and organization.
- Exhibit a comprehensive comprehension of all production-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Verifies the precision of all production data logged daily.
- Maintains regular communication with the Production manager regarding daily progress and any encountered setbacks, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the production process to propose and implement enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to give constructive feedback to crews.
- Proficient in the use of technology such as tablets/IPADS
- Effective verbal and written communication skills needed.
- Strong organizational skills including time management.
- Proven basic math skills required.
- Must be able to adapt to multiple and different job situations daily.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions to problems.
- Detailed-oriented and accurate,
- Must be willing to be a team player.
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and outlook or at least beginner-level familiarity with these software applications.
- 6 months experience working on a Production line in a greenhouse.
