Schedule
Full-time. Shifts within clinic hours (Mon–Fri 8:00a–8:00p; Sat–Sun 9:00a–5:00p). Every other weekend required; occasional holidays. 3 day one week (12 hours), 4 day next week schedule (2 12 hours and 2 8 hours shifts).

Summary
Physician-owned urgent care seeking a dependable front desk receptionist. You will greet patients, handle check-in/out, keep phones answered by a live person, verify insurance, and support a smooth patient experience. We will train you in basic clinic support tasks after onboarding.

Responsibilities
• Welcome patients; verify ID/insurance; collect copays/self-pay; complete digital intake and consents
• Manage check-in/out, schedule follow-ups, print visit summaries/receipts
• Answer phones professionally; assist with online scheduling and messages
• Document accurately in the EMR (Experity/DocuTAP) and coordinate with MAs/providers
• Maintain a clean, organized front area and protect PHI/HIPAA
• After training: assist with simple clinical support (room turnover/stocking, chaperone, specimen labeling, basic CLIA-waived workflows, taking vitals if trained/approved)

Qualifications
• 1+ year medical front desk or high-volume customer service preferred
• Clear communication and courteous phone skills; reliable and punctual
• Comfortable with computers and Google Workspace; types accurately; learns EMR quickly
• Able to work full-time, 8–12 hour shifts, and every other weekend

Nice to Have
• Urgent care or primary care experience; insurance verification; Experity/DocuTAP familiarity
• Bilingual (Spanish or other)
