Front Desk Receptionist
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact between the public and the medical center:
- They establish a smooth working relationship between support staff and Providers, as well as provide patients with timely and accurate care.
- Check patients in/out, obtain and update patient information, as well as schedule appointments.
- Accurately maintain records for AR and banking purposes. Balance the cash drawer and make daily deposits.
- Complete the required checklist.
- Use appropriate guidelines when releasing any records or information, making sure to follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Verifies patients' insurance.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High School graduate or GED.
- Experience: Prior Front Desk experience preferred but not required.
- Other: Valid N.C. driver’s License and dependable transportation.
Pay is dependent upon experience.
