Sales & Installation Electrician

This opportunity is in with Power Source Electrical in Pineville, NC. The Sales & Installation Electrician is responsible for completing generator quotes for customers, installing new generators, and following up through completion of all assigned projects. Communication with our customers is paramount to a great sales & installation experience. Follow all electrical code standards and safety procedures to ensure quality work, to meet inspection requirements and complete projects in an efficient manner.

What You’ll Do:

• Install residential generators and automatic transfer switches.
• Perform generator start-up and customer orientation.
• Use estimating tools and in-home consultation visit to document install requirements.
• Meet with homeowners and contractors, and travel to different worksites as needed.
• Create quotes for residential standby generators and close sales opportunities.
• Ensure that installations are accurate, serviceable, and meet code requirements.
• Basic computer skills for use with email, purchase orders, quotes, work orders, etc.
• Be able to climb ladders, bend, lift, stoop, trench, and crawl.

What You’ll Bring:

• 2+ years of experience as an electrician.
• Experience within a sales environment.
• Strong navigational skills with computer technology.
• Proven knowledge of residential work and/or generator installations.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must have clean driving record and be able to pass drug/background check.
