Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction equipment and machinery
Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Basic fabrication and welding as needed
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards Qualifications:
Proven experience as a heavy equipment or construction mechanic
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components
Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals
Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
Valid drivers license (CDL a plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces This position will be located in New London, NC and pay based on experience
