As the Lead Triage Medical Assistant, you will oversee the triage team, ensuring efficient patient flow and maintaining the highest standards of clinical care. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and train the triage staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and providing high-quality patient support.
- Manage patient triage processes, evaluating symptoms, and determining appropriate next steps for patient care.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring timely responses to patient inquiries and needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices in triage and patient management.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the triage team, providing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.
- Participate in relevant clinical meetings and initiatives to improve the overall patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Support the front office with patient scheduling and follow-up as needed.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical assistant role, particularly in triage or clinical settings.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring or training team members.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical protocols, and best practices in patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
