Travel Nursing Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
• Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina (28304) – North Carolina nursing jobs
• Facility: Leading Level III Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract)
• Unit: 8 SOUTH MEDICAL/TELEMETRY
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00) per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Royal blue and white
• Guaranteed Hours: All contracted hours guaranteed after 2 shift call-offs per assignment
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1660 - $1700 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float within scope and between similar units as needed
• Must pass Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance
• Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Return staff must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
• Maximum of 2 contracts (can only extend once)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Float to similar units as needed to support hospital staffing requirements
• Participate in hospital orientation and complete all required modules prior to start
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
