QA Lead

Akkodis is seeking a QA Lead for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC / Minneapolis, MN/Dallas, TX/Atlanta, GA. You will lead QA strategy and automation efforts, ensuring robust test frameworks and seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Lead job responsibilities include:

• Lead QA efforts for onshore teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and project timelines.

• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks to support Agile development.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Act as the primary liaison between onshore and offshore QA teams, coordinating daily sync-ups and ensuring smooth communication.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation and provide regular QA status reports, tracking key metrics like test coverage and automation progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 6+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Java/Python for automation testing.

• Proven ability to manage and mentor offshore QA teams, ensuring effective communication and delivery.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
