We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager with a strong background in the telecommunications industry to lead and oversee our client’s billing operations. This is a contract consulting role that will last for at least 6 months. This role will manage a team of 5, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of five billing specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
· Oversee end-to-end billing processes, including invoice generation, cash receipts, and account reconciliations.
· Identify and implement strategies to streamline billing workflows and improve accuracy and timeliness.
· Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and client requirements.
· Prepare and analyze billing reports, KPIs, and financial metrics for leadership review.
· Work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to resolve billing issues and support business objectives.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years in billing management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
· Telecommunications experience required
· Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in billing software and MS Excel.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
