Network Core Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Network Core Data Engineer for a Contract role based onsite in Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ . The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience across Cisco ISE, Forescout, Infoblox, F5, IBM NS1, Cisco ACI, Microchip NTP, Gluware, and automation platforms. This role requires deep troubleshooting expertise, advanced configuration skills, and the ability to support large-scale network architectures.

Rate Range: $53.03/hour to $56.82/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Core Data Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ISE for wireless, wired, VPN, and network access control

• Managing Forescout configuration and NAC troubleshooting across enterprise environments

• Supporting Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services, ensuring reliability and optimization

• Configuring and troubleshooting F5 LTM, GTM, and BIG‑IQ for load balancing and traffic management

• Designing and deploying Cisco ACI fabrics including leaf/spine architecture, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, filters, and multi‑site configurations

• Supporting IBM NS1 Connect platform for DNS automation and performance-based routing

• Working with Microchip NTP for time services configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting

• Using Ixia platform for L2/L3 network testing, topology validation, and performance troubleshooting

• Supporting Gluware for network automation and configuration management

• Developing and maintaining automation using Ansible for network configuration and orchestration

Desired Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of network engineering experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco ISE, Forescout NAC, Infoblox, IBM NS1, and F5 LTM

• Experience with Cisco routing & switching, Aruba wireless, SD‑WAN (Versa), and A10 load balancers

• Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture and security standards

• Experience working in Agile environments with strong communication and documentation abilities

Pay Details: $53.03 to $56.82 per hour
