TRASH TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

• We are hiring immediately for full time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: Johnson C Smith University - 100 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28216. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time; Days may vary, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Off on Fridays and Mondays. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: One year of prior trash technician experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $13.50 per hour to $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
