We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in accounting processes and compliance standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting audits.
Responsibilities:• Lead and manage month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and compliant.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and support external and internal audit processes, providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Manage account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve journal entries to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial records.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in financial reporting.
• Train and mentor entry-level accounting staff to support their growth and development.• Proven experience in accounting and financial management, including leading month-end close processes.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and reconciliation procedures.
• Familiarity with preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Experience in managing financial audits and providing relevant documentation.
• Proficiency in creating and reviewing journal entries to maintain data accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams and collaborate effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
