Job Opportunity – Physician, Infectious Disease – North Carolina

Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Inpatient rounding with approximately 20 patients per day; floating between two hospital locations
Highlights:
- 52-week contract (approximately 1 year) offering long-term stability and continuity of care
- Adult patient population focused on complex infectious disease cases including sepsis, osteomyelitis, and endocarditis
- EPIC EMR system with advanced provider support at primary location
- Variety of practice settings with rotation between two facilities providing diverse clinical exposure
- Competitive overtime and holiday pay at 1.5x normal rate
- Inpatient consultative role providing expert guidance on infectious disease management
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Infectious Disease required
- Active North Carolina state license (must be licensed prior to start)
- Current DEA certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Infectious Disease specialty training and experience essential
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days advance notice recommended
