EP Lab RN Job Details

• Job Title: Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse (EP Lab RN) – Travel/Locum Tenens
• Location: Winston Salem, NC 27103
• Healthcare Setting: Electrophysiology Lab, with float to Cath Lab as needed
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days (06:45 - 17:15)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Assignment Duration: 16-17 weeks (10/13/2025 – 2/9/2026)
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Average Daily Cases: 10-16
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Orientation: 3 days (scrubs provided)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2250-$2310

EP Lab RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an EP Lab RN or Electrophysiology Registered Nurse
• Previous travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (must be current at start)
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficient in circulating, scrubbing, EP Lab procedures, and cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Ability to float to Cath Lab as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

EP Lab RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for electrophysiology lab procedures
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias for adult and geriatric patients
• Deliver high-quality patient care in the EP Lab and float to Cath Lab as needed
• Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and Prucka (GE) systems for documentation and medication management
• Follow infection control and isolation precautions
• Participate in a comprehensive 3-day orientation and complete required modules prior to start
