If so, Blossman Gas & Appliance would like you to submit your application online for consideration toward an open GAS SERVICE TECHNICIAN position at our growing location in Hickory, NC. With more than 85 branch locations in 12 states, Blossman Gas is the largest independent propane company in America. Due to our company's culture, these positions experience little turnover for those who want to work locally and for an established company.
Our Service Technicians regularly install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, as well as install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, generators, and more. This is a great position for someone who has prior propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical experience and would enjoy working locally. If you have mechanical aptitude but little experience, we can teach you while progressing your career as an Apprentice. The position requires customer service skills, the desire to continuously improve and learn, while being a contributing member of a team environment. There is a lot of growth potential with this particular opening and our company. A strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy, is a must. Competitive, hourly pay will depend on prior experience and licensing.
