CT/Xray Technologist Job Details

• Job Title: Locum Tenens CT/Xray Technologist (Travel Contract)
• Location: Sanford, NC 27330 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital Imaging Department – 137-bed acute care hospital
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); includes weekends and weekdays
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1980–$2030
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 8/7/2025 – End: 11/6/2025)
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Call Requirements: None
• Equipment: GE CT Revolution, GE and Siemens Xray rooms
• Dress Code: Scrubs (any color)

Qualifications for CT/Xray Tech Jobs

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT/Xray Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ARRT (RT, CT) certification required
• Proficient in both CT and Xray modalities; able to work independently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; patient-centric approach
• Willingness to float between CT and Xray departments as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and Xray imaging procedures for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Operate and maintain GE CT Revolution and GE/Siemens Xray equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused service in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Float between CT and Xray departments as required for clinical support
