Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:At least 2 years experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with ED.2 years of current NICU and PICU experience.Level IV NICU experience.High frequency jet ventilator experience.Oscillating ventilator experience.Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Teaching Hospital ExperienceTrauma Level I Experience

Required Credentials:CRT candidates considered on a case-by-case basis only if they meet all other skill/experience requirements.

Unit Details:Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population.

Shift & Scheduling:6 weekend shifts per schedule. The schedule is published in 6 week blocks.Targeted start dates - 6/29, 7/13, 7/27

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
