Chef Manager

SodexoMagic is seeking a Chef/Kitchen Manager with prior culinary supervisory skills and hands-on food production experience to join our team at the private Delta Sky Club at RDU Airport. Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. This position will report to the Executive Chef and must be flexible to work day-evening shifts, including weekends.

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo. As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and airport lounges. This strategic alliance between Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, Inc., enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

• be responsible for purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking;
• supervision of large-scale batch cooking;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
