Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and an active NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Day shift position with hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
- Staffing pool unit within a hospital setting
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patient population
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or telemetry experience required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs
- US Social Security Number (SSN) and date of birth (DOB) required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- Professional references required: 1 reference for most states; 2 references for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
